Children of Lir – Drop Earrings

Inspired by the Irish tale of Children of Lir – A pair of swans entwine in each earring to reveal a heart symbolising love and dedication. One of the swans is textured to give the illusion that one swan is slightly behind the other in the embrace.

Light can shine through the earrings revealing a Celtic triple spiral (triskele – represents eternity). The colour blue represents Lake Derravaragh in the old legend and the colour green represents the land of Ireland.

Each drop earring is handcrafted from sterling silver & translucent acrylic and measure 17mm in diameter.

Meticulously crafted in Dublin with love for Irish roots, history and folklore. Each piece is hallmarked in the Assay Office at Dublin Castle.
