Silver Engraved Irish Prayer Pendant

This beautiful solid round pendant is made from Sterling Silver and is engraved with a very important message.

The meaning of this piece is so important to me. When I was in 3rd class, I learned a very old Irish prayer and it’s how I live my life. The first 2 sentences are engraved on the bangle and remind you that although you are only one person, you are A person and so can create change in the world by doing little things… single acts of kindness/intention can and will create a ripple effect…

Níl ionam ach duine amháin – Ach is duine amháin mé…
Ní féidir liom gach ní a dhéanamh – Ach is féidir liom ní éigean a dhéanamh…
An ní is féidir liom a dhéanamh, déanfaidh mé é agus déanfaidh mé anois é…

English Translation
I am only one person but I am a person…
I can’t do everything but I can do something…
The something I can do, I will do and I’ll do it now…

The pendant measures approximately 25mm in width. The pendant comes with a choice of 16, or 18 inch sterling silver chain which passes through the hole at the centre which allows the piece to flip randomly when worn, so either side may be showing.
The words are patinated so that they stand out against the brushed silver finish.

Each piece is crafted in Dublin with love of Irish roots, history and folklore.
