Marathon running pendant

So, when I’m not making jewellery, I really enjoy running and marathon training. It provides me with peace of mind, helps me find my forward when I’m worried about things, keeps me healthy, is a great source of craic with the guys I run with and of course being out in the open air taking it all in.
Being on the sidelines this year due to injury had me frustrated (my husband would probably use a different word!!), so I made a little pendant to remind myself that I’m in it for the long run!! I want to be 70 running marathons and have my children run them with me. So this little pendant is a celebration of the marathon whether you’ve only done it once or whether you manage a few a year.

It’s handcrafted in sterling silver and a nice feature is that it can flip from front to back randomly when worn on the chain and there’s a little splash of red in the heart. It has a matt finish as who of us are shiny at the end of 26.2 miles !

This is a dainty pendant measuring approximately 15mm in diameter. Might be a nice gift for a running legend like myself 😉

Each piece is meticulously crafted with love of Irish roots, history and folklore and is hallmarked in the Assay Office at Dublin Castle.
