I will be making a limited number of my contemporary communion pendants again this year. Each pendant measures 18mm in diameter and comes on a 16 inch chain (other lengths available on request). All handcrafted and hand engraved in sterling silver.
It is a modern design with traditional meaning.
The textured circle at the centre of the piece represents the Holy Communion (Host) and 3 crosses representing the Holy Trinity radiate from the Host.
Without the meaning, the design is simply a shining sun and is intended to allow the child wear the piece while growing up.
The name of the child and date of communion can be engraved on the back (at an additional cost)…..
